    • Make no mistake - this tour is 100% different from our Day Bike Tour. The Night Bike Tour contains more riding and less information than the Day Bike Tour, and allows us to enjoy the 'City of Light' as it comes to life. For a more in-depth overview of the city, try our Day Bike Tour. Most of our customers enjoy both bike tours and we hope you will, too.
    • If you have previously reserved the Day or Night Bike Tour through our website then you are eligible for our Combo Tour Discount. Enter the coupon code DAYNIGHTCOMBO to receive 50% off of your next reservation. This discount only applies to reservations for the Day Bike Tour and Night Bike Tour.
    • We do not stop for dinner on the Paris Night Bike Tour so please be sure to eat before your tour.

  • Expand/Collapse Where is the meeting point?

The tour meets at the exit of the Dupleix Métro station (line 6). Look for our 'Fat Tire Tours' sign.

  • Expand/Collapse Is there a stop for food?

We do not stop for dinner, although we do stop for ice cream early in the tour! Please eat something substantial prior to the tour, and bring a little extra euro cash along should you wish to purchase ice cream.

  • Expand/Collapse Is the wine included in the tour price?

Yes, and a Seine River cruise too!

  • Expand/Collapse What about children? What do they drink on the boat?

At the beginning of the tour we will offer sodas and water to anyone that doesn't want to drink wine?

  • Expand/Collapse Is this tour appropriate for children, and if so, what are your bike options?

All of our bike tours are excellent family activities!  However, the Paris Night Bike Tour is slightly faster paced and involves more street traffic, whereas our Paris Day Bike Tour has a more leisurely pace and stays mostly on bike paths and sidewalks.  If you're travelling with kids, we often suggest taking the Paris Day Bike Tour first in order to gauge their comfort on tour, and deciding later about the Paris Night Bike Tour. If you are only interested in the Paris Night Bike Tour, please make sure that your children are comfortable on bikes and riding in a group. Also, please note that children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult on the tour.

We offer multiple bike options for children depending on their age, size, and riding ability. You can view our bikes here:

    • For children up to 12 years old or 45kg (100lbs) without good bike handling skills we offer 2-wheeled tandems that allow the passenger to pedal or coast, without having to maintain a high level of balance. All riders over 45kg (100lbs) must ride their own bicycle. We have various sized city bikes to accommodate just about every size of rider, from extra small 20 inch wheeled bikes for riders that are 3.3ft (100cm) to extra large for riders up to 6.5ft (198cm). Unfortunately, we do not have adult tricycles, adult tandems, or bikes with training wheels for adults or children that may be less confident in their riding ability.
    • There is no additional charge for trailers, tandems or baby seats. Due to limited availability, please book baby seats, trailers, tandems, 20” and 24” wheeled bikes in advance.
    • Please Note: All extra small 20 inch and small 24 inch bikes are equipped with both hand brakes and pedal brakes.
    • Our city tours are very casual, with only slight elevation changes on varying surfaces including smooth gravel and pavement. It is necessary, however, that any person participating in our bike tours have at least some bike riding experience, and should be comfortable riding in a group.
  • Expand/Collapse Is a helmet included?

Yes! Helmets are optional, but we have sizes for all ages available in our office.

  • Expand/Collapse Can we buy water at your office?

Yes! We have a cold water in our office, and all of our bikes come equipped with luggage racks so that you can take it with you on tour.

  • Expand/Collapse Is this tour offered in any other languages, or only English?

All scheduled tours are in English, but private tours can be scheduled in other languages.

  • Expand/Collapse Do we go inside the museums and monuments?

Unfortunately, 4.5 hours does not give us enough time to enter any of the sites that we see on our Day Bike Tour.  This tour is designed to enjoy the city from a broad perspective and come away with a greater understanding of its history and layout.  After the tour, however, we have lots of information in our office in regards to museum opening times and the best way to see them.  Your tour doesn't end when the biking is over; we are also a full-service English helpdesk ready to answer your questions!

  • Expand/Collapse Can I leave the tour early?

Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate special requests like this on our public tours.  Once the tour begins we ask that you stay with the guide and the group until the end.  If you're interested in something shorter, please inquire about a private tour.

  • Expand/Collapse How long is the ride?

Our Paris Night Bike Tour covers approximately 8.2 miles (13 km).

  • Expand/Collapse What is your cancellation policy?

We are happy to offer full refunds for our Night Bike Tour if the reservation is cancelled more than 72 hours (3 days) before the scheduled tour.  We do not offer refunds for any reason once we are within 72 hours of the scheduled tour.

  • Expand/Collapse What is your weather policy?

Our tours run rain or shine, and we have rain ponchos available for purchase in our office for anyone that needs them. We will gladly buy the ponchos back if they are not used during your tour. We encourage all guests to consult the weather forecast and to dress accordingly.

  • Expand/Collapse How does the Paris Day Bike Tour compare to the Paris Night Bike Tour?

Many customers want to know the difference between our Paris Day and Paris Night Bike Tours. First, the routes and information provided are completely different.

The Paris Day Bike Tour is where you'll get the most information about Paris. We hear one of two comments most often after the Paris Day Bike Tour. Either, "Wow, I'm so glad I took this because now I know what I'm going to do the next few days while I'm in the city" or we hear, "I can't believe I'm leaving tonight because there's so much more here that I didn't know about and I've missed it all."

The Paris Night Bike Tour is simply beautiful. There is more riding involved and slightly less information than the Paris Day Bike Tour, but the city at night is fantastic!

Most of our customers take both of our tours by taking advantage of our Day & Night Bike Tours - 50% Off Combo. However, if you're not sure, we suggest you take whichever one sounds most interesting to you, and then you can decide at that point if you enjoyed it enough to ride with us a second time. We think we know what your answer will be...

  • Expand/Collapse What is the number to call if I am lost and trying to find the meeting point?

If you are having difficulty finding the meeting location for your tour, please call us at + and our staff will be happy to help you find your way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ride From start to finish. This bike ride was fun, informative, breathtaking and made me feel like a real Persian. The guide was very frendily and left me knowing a little more about Paris then I when I arrived. The boat curise part of the trip was great. I got to see Paris from a different view.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from more bike riding than sight seeing We pushed hard to make all the stops. Except for an ice cream stop, which was lovely we did not stop long enough for photos. There is a 1 hour boat ride at the end, which was pleasant. This tour is for confident cyclists.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Magical Night! I can't express how magical the tour was on our first night in Paris. My two teenagers and husband and myself ranked it as being our favorite experience in Europe. Jordan was so kind and knowledgeable as well as helpful. It was so beautiful biking around the Lourve at dusk. I will never, forget it. Thank you Jordan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rain soaked but great experience It started to rain just as we were leaving the office but our tour guide Alan kept spirits high until the rain cleared after about an hour. Once it did we saw all the major sights that the city had to offer with a little local knowledge mixed in. We then boarded the evening boat cruise which we expected to be a short trip and more of a throw in for the tour but it was about an hour and passed all the major sights that one would expect down the river. During the cruise it began raining heavily but the free wine flowed and everyone joined together to last it out in our provided rain ponchos.
